Looking for opinions on rims.
I can't spend a lot of cash (around 1000-1200 for rims&tires). I found some nice white XXR's that I really like. Anybody wanna chime in about XXR rims? They are pretty inexpensive, but do they hold up well? I have a velocity red 04 rx-8 and I think the white rims will look nice. Thanks
Can I use 48+ offset?

Ive never had any personal experience with XXR, but I'm sure Google has.
I'm just saying for purposes of weight savings, good fitment, reliabilty (remember you will be driving high speed and cornering on these wheels) and looks, it usually is always beneficial to save up for some high quality, lightweight wheels.

Looks is all personal preference. A few have run XXR wheels here and I have never heard bad things really. Heck, I think Easy E1's XXR's even made the switch to his RX7 after running them on his old RX-8.

No I won't! lol... I don't care about weight that much. Just as long as they aren't a ton heavier than stock. I'm really just going for looks.

Well, even if your going for looks, your going to want to make sure they wont bend the first pothole you drive over... Personally I've never heard bad about XXR so pull the trigger mate!

I think I will. They come in 35 and 48 offset. I know 35 will be fine, but what about a 48?

^ What are the rim dimensions?
Offsets are basically determined based on the wheel width
18x8, 18x9 et. +35 will be just fine, and will work with a suspension drop without a problem
