Lowering question

I really wanna buy some lowering springs for the 8.. was looking through Ebay and came across these..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/D2-RA...Q5fAccessories

I tryed to search the web and the forums.. but came across nothing.. any reviews or advice about these would be great.. Also i only want to lower the car about 2 inches.. and these are suppose to do 1.8, which is fine.

If these are bad.. any other ideas for cheaper lowering springs would be great..

thanks.

never heard of them
very agressive drop for a spring
say goodbye to your OEM struts, they probably won't last long with those springs

Ebay is great but there are a lot of junk on there as well so be careful

Hmmm why would these wear out the OEM strut's quickly? These springs offer about the same drop as Megan Racing springs and I've read good things about those.. Not trying to argue or anything just trying to comprehend why that would happen.

D2 Racing: Front: 1.8 in.
Rear: 1.8 in.

Megan Racing: Front: 1.75in.
Rear: 1.5in.

The Megans will wear out your stock struts quickly too. Basically any spring will do that . The stock struts are not valved for a lowered spring. If you don't want to get new struts I would think RB would be your best bet (they only drop .5 in), but it seems you are looking for something with a significant drop, so maybe you wouldn't like them.

Are you going strickly for looks (drop) or looking to improve performance? Big difference between those two goals.

^ What if were looking for both? A good drop and some improved performance... No worse than stock atleast.

Replace the shocks and springs. You also want to make sure the combo can work together.
