Mazdaspeed pads against squeal?
The squealing of my brakes (front and rear, btw) is really getting on my nerves.
My mazda-dealer said he checked with mazda but here in germany they haven't changed pads yet.
So, are the mazdaspeed brake-pads a measure against the awful noise?

Stock brakes in my car were great. No noise at all.
I have the MS pads now and they are great too. there is a very slight squeal when there are cold, but after a few seconds stepping on the middle pedal, the noise is gone. This is normal though, since they are "touring" pads and are made to work in higher temps than street pads...
A diagram at the back of the box shows they work best at 250C-350C, but still working good up to 450-500 degrees... My advice, if you think changing pads will solve your problem, buy them! They ain't expensive.

Mine were terrible too. After 15 min. of driving (warming them up) they squealled like an old pickup truck.
Took it into the Mazda dealer this morning. They changed the pads, shimms and turned the rotors. NO SQUEAL at all. Drove it hard all the way home, not a peep.

I haven't compared the part numbers yet, but my dealer said the german 8's had pads different from the US-cars, so he could only replace the old crappy pads with new crappy pads
