Mazdaspeed strut and springs.

Mazdaspeed strut and springs.
I had MS struts and springs put on the car this weekend. Also added the MS front and rear strut tower braces.
I have to say I'm pleased as can be with the improvement to handling and ride heigth, it was just what I was looking for.
The car will never be auto-x'd, i'm not looking to slam it, and it's a daily driver.
I'm posting this for the people who've read (and you really really really should) the threads on shocks, springs, etc. and are looking for a small tweak to the car. There is a great thread showing spring rates and the MS springs.... well, let's just say the ones that were measured sucked. I had mine checked before they were installed and I would suggest anyone buying a set have it done too.
Since the car is only for personal use my "butt dyno" was my measuring stick. I was lucky enough to get a chance to ride in a bunch of different 8's with lots of different springs/struts/coilovers... the MS set up was my favorite. The drop is just enough to get ride of the huge gap between tire and fender. After they settle in I'm not expecting a huge change from where it is now.
There are MUCH better set up's then MS but they will cost more money and I felt they took away some of the ride comfort for the sake of improved handling. I've also become a bit of a MS junkie, so that most likely played a roll in my decision.
