Megan Coilover Review (IMHO)
#26
Ok I had raised the car up exactly 1 1/2 inches and now no more speed bump problems LOL. The car handles looser now that I am up higher... Is that normal? My cornering ablility still kicks *** though so its all good. One other thing I need to do is soften up the coilovers a notch or 2 because driving in dc is beginning to hurt my *** cheeks big time!
By the way here are some pics BEFORE we raised the car the inch and a half and some after. Notice the MASSIVE lean because of the difference in drop after we finished up the drivers side before we started the other side. By the way sorry for the quality, it was taken with a camera phone.
Before...
After...
The difference between the two (AKA the LEAN)
That there is a LEAN FROM HELL!

arg i can't seem to raise mine that high lol i got them on my 8 too but im as high as i can get them to be for me, and its still preaty low. The wheel gap is about the same as your orginial drop, but since i got a stock body its not as bad.
I had raised it about an inch higher than i currently had it but, the threaded body part of the coilover poped out of the bottom, so i had to screw it back down so it wouldn't pop out again.
Anyone know how i could mesure the preload on my coilovers? my friend may have messed them up durring my install. right now there not too tight, but their not loose either. Any ideas?
Sorry if im thread jacking, just wanted u to know about my coilovers seperating. They still work though just don't think you would want to drive with them serperated
