Metalic Pearlescent Rims on 8: Ya or Nay

Will put on Sunlight Silver with MS kit (matt black lower end) and might have gray smoked tail light later on.

I know you some of you guy would say do want ever that you want, it's your car.

Problem is I will paint my oem rims so I have no idea what will they will look like on real car. I dont wanna do the job twice.

Also no after market rims for now. Save my money for gas...
Past $55/tank >>> Present $65/tank

My option is either
- Dupri-color graphite

- Dupri-color Mirage: this color (I dont know how to call it....)

What do you think?

That color doesn't go with anything and it screams rice, the only place that color looks ok is on a bike, and even then it's still tacky, on stock rims it'll look particularly horrid.

I'm pretty sure you can't paint stock rims anymore.

They have been coating them with plastic for years.

I was told by a Mazda Rep that painting the stock rims will cause the car to impload in itself, dyno proven.

+1.

If you're going to paint them at least get them done the proper way. DIY spray bombs will turn your OEM wheels into ugly Honda ricer wheels. They look hideous IMO.
