MS Strut Brake Brace

MS Strut Brake Brace
I'm a little concerned about the brake brace bolt on my Mazdaspeed Strut bar. It seems to dig into the master cylinder a bit. Has anyone made a little mount for it or put a one sided nut or something along those lines on the end so that it sits flat against the metal? If so, what size nut would I need for that bolt?

I've been looking for the same thing. What I believe is needed is something similar to what chairs and tables have on the bottom. It looks like a nut welded to a washer and then it has some type of nylon or anti marring material on the bottom. I will post a picture if I can find it.

On mine, the end of the adjuster is a ball swivel and attached to that is a flat piece that sets against the MB Cylinder.
I was looking for a picture, but couldn't find a good one to show this.

Yea that is exactly what I thought should be there. A ball and socket joint with a flat head that presses against the master cyclinder. I will look for this part somewhere on the net and post it up here.

Oh, so perhaps mine is just missing the end piece? I did buy it used so it's possible. Let us know if you can find it as I'd like to get one. I'll ask over at one of the online mazda dealers in the mean time.

I haven't been able to find anything regarding this part. Has anyone else had any luck? If not I guess we should look into making a part from some hardware. Does anyone know the size of that bolt that pushes against the MC?

There is a ball on the end of the adjusting screw and a cap in the above piece. The piece swivels on the ball. This is because the angle of the screw doesn't exactly match the angle of the master brake cylinder.

That's what I thought. Looking at mine, I can see that the bolt is not pushing directly head on into the MC. It has a slight angle to it. I will try to fabricate something now that I know how it looks.
