My 8 on VOLK 19s
The weather finally got nice here in Germany, so here's some pics with summer shoes! They are VOLK GT-C Face IIs in Gunmetal.
In the front they are 19x8.5 with +39 offset and in the back, 19x9.5 with +37 offset. Tires are NITTO 555 (no flames they were FREE!) front 245/35/19, back 275/30/19
Now I think it's time for springs!

Hey I think that these wheels look very nice, especially the last picture where you can see the wheel filling out that rear fender. Looks great. Springs will definately make it look even better. Don't know how crazy I am about the red callipers though. With that color of wheel, I would like to see them painted black. Just my opinion.

Autobahn,
Those wheels and tires look really good. I'm a big fan of the 'polished lip' look. Though those style of wheels arent my preference they look sharp!

question for you though....wheels look pretty good, but I'm wondering about what's in your sig...you say "totally redone audio"...what's that mean?...or how far does the "redone" reach...if you redid your faceplate to accomodate aftermarket HU i wanna know what you did with the PCB...cause i have found that the stereo actually controls more than just the "stereo",,,...good pick on the wheels though...

XeRo,
Well, TOTALLY redone may have been too strong for choice of words. I replaced the fronts with Focal Kevlar components, and the backs with Infinity Kappa 6x9s. New heavier gauge wiring throughout, and running them is a 400W Amp. I also have a Diamond 10 in the trunk (Didn't lose much trunk space) running off of an Eclipse 200. The sound is MUCH better, but I'm still awaiting a front fasia replacement so I can put in a decent head unit. The signal from line convertors is less than acceptable.

Out of curiosity, could you fit the rear wheels on the front w/o rubbing?

I've had no problems whatsoever with the front tires, thoughI rub just a little on the rears during hard acceleration in a tight turn or when I hit the right kind of bump. No worries though, I'm getting the rear fenders rolled on Friday (professionally). The rub is so minimal, it normally wouldn't matter much, but I'm planning on new springs or coilovers so I figure it's necessary.

Oh no! You rub with factory springs on 19's. Not what I wanted to hear. That freaks me out. Was thinking of puttin the tein s's with 19's in 2 weeks. That woul dmean that it is a must to roll the fenders.

When I was going thru the Volks wheel site
www.rayswheel.co.jp
They stated that the 18 inch for the RX-8 has different tyre size for the front and rear. Front being 225/45 and rear is 245/40???
And offset are different too (from memory)...
why is that?
