My strut bars powdercoated
I got the Greddy bars but was not diggin the blue on the ends. I had the ends powedercoated with the closest matching yellow powdercoat available. What do you think?

im hopin to install them tonight or tomorrow night.
The cover has to have a little trim on the side closest to the firewall. Very small portion needs taken out though. ill post before and after pics of the cover as well

Someone said they managed to fit it without trimming anything off, which is my preferred option. Be nice to know if that was true.

great job..lol it never dawnied on me to do that..i too am not really digging teh blue ...but it would look much worse...blue on yellow ...hehe can't wait to see pics of it installed :D

I had thought about that, and thats kinda how i wanted it, it would blend a lot like the factory one. I also thought that if i used blue, i would have to use that as the cars accent color, and im just not a fan of the blue.

I got the bars on, ill post pics soon.
I had a couple of people asking me what they weighed so i wieghed them on my bathroom scale, not the most accurate, but it gives you the idea.
The front factory bar weighed 2 pds and the Greddy front weight just a hair under three.
The rear bar weighed just under 2.5 pds.
Most of the weight is in the ends that greddy uses but the difference in handling is incredible and well worth the extra 3.5 pds you pick up.

wow 3.5 pounds big ******* deal go on a diet if you're going to nitpick on that stuff or go peel out your fire wall and strip your spare jack kit, AC, radio, passenger and rear seats, etc etc blah blah
