Need Help Buying Brake Rotors
I have a 2005 A/T BB RX-8 and I'm looking at brake rotors.
First of all is it worth buying new brake rotors?
I was thinking it would probably get rid of that horrible screeching noise the stock brakes make.
But how much more stopping power will I get and will it effect my warranty?
Here is the rotors I was looking at buying

Please tell me what you guys think
Thanks

I would never by things like Brakes off Ebay. You are only about 20 minutes from http://www.racingbrake.com/ in Boonton. A set of fronts would run you about $240 and you can pick them up. As for stopping power you will not improve much over stock. BUT if you track your car which I doubt with an A/T their ability to deal with heat is better and they weigh less. If you have a brake issue down the line and the Dealer can prove the aftermarket rotors caused it your SOL. If your only issue is noise I would try other pads before changing rotors.

From your picture it looks like you have an auto with the sport/performance package that upgrades the wheels/brakes. You might have to use the larger manual brake rotors if that's the case. Just a thought.

Powerslot rotors are real good aswell, and cheaper than others out there. I have Powerslot rotors with Hawk HPS pads and though I didn't notice a huge difference in "power", I have yet to experience any squeaks, pulsating, and only had brake fade once.

Try http://www.r1concepts.com/. Several people in the indyrx8club have gotten them and really seem to like them. I will probably be upgrading mine soon.

Their web site database isn't fully loaded, but they can provide a ton of different options and great service. Call them.

Thanks...and BTW, Polak just put up a review on these rotors a couple of days ago. Check out https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/racing-brake-big-brake-lightweight-rotors-reviewed-121300/ for some more info on these if interested..........and it may contain links to elsewhere, I can't remember.
