I just bought a set of staggered 19in rims (8.5 front-9.5 rear) +35 offset. i called various motorsport shops and im getting a bunch of differnt numbers. can anybody help me? thanks

what do you want to know?

Stock is 225/45/18, for 19 some examples of what you will be able to use are as follows:

225/40/19 (60mph will be around 60.3mph)
235/40/19 (60mph will be around 61mph)
235/35/19 (60mph will be around 58.9mph)
245/35/19 (60mph will be around 59.5mph)
255/35/19 (60mph will be around 60.1mph)
265/35/19 (60mph will be around 60.8mph)


I used this http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to figure these out.

I wouldnt go wider than 245 on an 8.5" in rim and 275 on 9.5". I also believe the speedo is taken on teh front wheels so you need to base your speed difference on those. You also need to be carefull of the difference between front and rear. If you end up with a tyre that is running slower on the front and faster on the rear you MAY POSSIBLY get issues with DSC kicking in.
