Need RIm help!

im Buying a set of staggared rims and was wondering the offsets,
the fronts: 225/40/19 and 8.5 wide, the Rear: 225/35/19 and 9.5 wide. i can get an offset of 20mm or 40mm. but i dont know what one to buy, i just want the rim flush witht he body not sticking out or to far into the body.

I would go with the 40 offset. Stock are 48 so 40 should be abit more flush with the fenders. I'm not too sure on the +20 should be a pretty aggressive fitment, might have to get your fenders rolled. I'm no expert though so hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in soon.

ok, let's get this straight.

the front is 19x8.5 +20 or +40
the rear is 19x9.5 +20 or +40.......?

first of all, why are you getting 225/40 in the front but 225/35 in the rear? is that a typo for the rear tire size?? doesn't make sense to have the rear's the same width as the front but lower profile. so hopefully you meant 245/35 or something.

for the offset, i'd go w/ +40 for the rears, definitely. someone else may know better, but you could get +20 for the fronts since teh wheel is thinner, but i think it would stick out further than the rears would, so i'd get +40 for all of them.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrr, don't get staggered rims to start with.

the fronts are 19x8 with 40mm offset 235/35
rear is 19x9.5 with 40mm offset 255/35

will that be pretty flush or no

flush depends on height/camber. Those fronts are going to be inside the fenders by a good bit. The rears are gonna be OK.

IF THIS HELPS!!!

i put 18 x 8 on all four with 245/40/r18 and thats all i changed (offset et:35 of mags) and it is flush with the guard you also don't what the speedo to change to much so i used this website and your can compare it to the original (some one else on this site put it up and it helped me alot)

well i phoned the guy at wheelsnext.com just to ask some questions and he set me up with this

19's 8.5 in the front 235/35

9.5 265/30 in the rear

Offset? Those tires are too short and you wont have much protection from potholes since they are 19s. Also, you would get better answers in regard to sizes/offsets from this forum than from those guys.

This is what you need to do.

19x8.5 +40 245/35/19
19x9.5 +40 275/30/19, even 285/30/19 would be fine.

HOWEVER, if this was me. I would get 19x9.5 +40 front and rear with 275/30 all the way around.

DONE. No more questions. This should be a simple question to answer.

If you want to push them out more just use some spacers.

If you get +20 you're screwed and can't go back. At least with +40 you can use spacers once you've tested it out and make it fit your style.

If you want that stretched tire look then you should do this.

19x9.5 +20 Front and Rear. Running 225/40/19.

You gotta lower the car a decent amount to make this look right and have some camber.
