New Brakes, Rotors, Lines.., Suggestons

I am about to hit 40k on my 04 AT. My current rotors are about worn out and are very rusted. Want to put in new pads and rotors, but want a little more than OEM replacements. Would like to put vented/slotted rotors on the front and back and put on some good pads that balance between noise/dust/performance. Would like to replace the lines as well.

Suggestions. I would most likely order them then have the local shop do the install.

Many Thanks.

OEM pads and stock replacement rotors along with stock lines are all you need.

If you want to spend the $$$, it's all for bling factor.

Hawk Performance Ceramic pads would make a nice upgrade.

Or Porterfield carbon kevlar pads.

Paint the rotors yourself or have the shop paint the hat before install.

Then no rust.

Hey thanks for the input. Yes, I am going for the bling. Want my car to have that little extra eye-candy. So far going for some Rotora Rotors slotted/drilled with some Hawk HPS pads. Most likely will change out the lines with braided stainless steel lines from Groodridge. Going to have the calipers painted black while I am at it.

After this, going to tackle the exhuast and intake as well as replace the rear bumper (got rear-ended and is a bit bent out of shape).

I had installed the Goodridge brake lines on both my rx7's and they are definitely nice. Not sure if you were to notice any difference at all unless your doing some road racing / autocross. Thats where they really shine.
