I installed my ASA chrome 17's with the LM-22 Blizzacks tonight and drove about 30 miles... They look and feel great! I am wondering where this buzzer and annoying light from the Tire Pressure Monitor that everyone keeps talking about is???? I have not heard or seen any light on the dash yet. Maybe someone knows why I am not having any problems with it and others have been?

Wait a few more days... you'll see it. It took a while for mine to show up too. I have no idea why it has a delay.

I knew it was to good to be true.... Thanks for the heads up. I guess I will deal with it when the time comes.
What are people doing if they dont feel like spending money on new sensors?

There is no buzzer, just a little flashing light on the dash. It doesn't really bother me at all. The light doesn't even come on unless you drive five miles or so. If the light does bother you, just put a little piece of black tape over it.

i swore i heard a buzzer beep 4 times and the light went on when the tires were cold but the light went out when the tires warmed up.

Sorry, there is a buzzer whent the TPMS detects low tire pressure. There is no buzzer when it simply detects that there are no sensors. So if you are running winter wheels with no sensors, you get no buzzer and a blinking light.

I installed my winter wheels and tires last night and was going to post this very thing this morning. The light never came on during my test drive last night though on my commute to work (about 5 miles in, come to think of it), the light started blinking. No buzzer. It's worth $400 to me to let the dumb thing just keep on blinking for four out of twelve months during the year.

I'm curious why you are not swapping the sensors on your new wheels? The manual has a step by step process on how to remove and replace them the process seems simple but are you running into problems with different wheels or rims? I am not trying to be sarcastic I am being sincere so please don't be offended

It should blink and not stay on constantly. When the sensors aren't found it should come on after 5 miles or so and just continue to blink if it is staying on have the dealer check it out.

Is this documented as a problem? My light blinked initially, then went into solid state mode... haven't noticed any problems with ABS or any other DSC systems.

It seems that they are ignoring the flashing TPMS light or taping over it. Watch the glue residue! It might cause permanent damage to your instrument panel.

Yep, before I got my tire sensors in my winters, I got the light but no bell. After the sensors and the setting process, all went back to normal. Just decided if i was going to make the change, I was doing all of it. JMO and not forcing it on anyone else. I wouldn't have minded getting exhaust finisher and gas tank cap for the cash instead!

It's actually not that simple, unfortunately. Replacement wheels have to be made to specifically take the sensors, and not many are available yet.

Couldn't buy the 18 inch blizzak as was told all sold out nation wide. went to a 17inch msa alloy rim with the 17inch blizzak swapped the sensors over during the mounting process and never blinked an eye as the sensors have worked with no trouble.Price of the new tires and rims were within dollars of the price of the 18inch blizzak tires alone. Had one valve stem leak slightly and sensor did it's job. No big deal in my eyes to swap original sensors summer to winter tires just the price to mount and dismount and balance check.

After doing that twice a year for 3 years or so, you'll have spent the same amount of money as if you'd bought a second set of sensors, and with a second set of sensors you'd have saved lots of wear and tear on your tire beads and wheels!

Maybe you can pick up a second set of sensors before you remount the summer tires...

same here. for the first few weeks it blinked after about 15 minutes now it goes on and stays on without blinking the minute i start the car. so does anybody know if the solid light means a problem or not?
