FL OEM wheels painted or Powder Coated

So I have a white 8 and Im in the Miami Florida area Im considering either new rims black with a chrome lip or getting my OEM rims painted or powder coated black or dark grey (Edit: or maybe even polished).

First question does any one know a place in the miami florida area that can do this?

and second has anyone seen a white 8 with rims like this and if so can you send me some pics?

Thanks!

So many people have painted their OEM wheels. I can think of a good 10 people who have done so. Lots of people do it themselves, as for a place in Miami...I cannot help you there..

i was thinking of powdercoating my oem's gunmetal too. i decided not to cause i know that i was gonna want aftermarket rims sooner or later so id rather save the money and put it towards rpf1's or te37's.

but i wish i could get gram light 57 maximums.

if you decide to do it go powdercoat most rattle can jobs look like **** and you end up spening more in the long run, i went with powdercoating and did my homeworks called many shops and it came out pretty cheap 30buxs a rim and the look awsome and are very durable, hope this helps

JuanchyRX-8,

You need a drop, some tuner lugs and paint the center caps black! Wheels look good
