What is with all the unsearched questions this morning....sigh.

I am tempted to be sarcastic and say "no, no one knows how wide you can go", and hope you search for an answer.

But instead I will just say 245 is the widest reasonably and what most shops are willing to do. Up to 285 I think is POSSIBLE, but not really recommended.

^..............better than me, I was just simple going to answer....."yes"

Having said that, l wouldn't go wider than 245 as suggested on the OEM wheel(assumes you have 18"). I believe the rule of thumb for speedo reasons is stay within 3%.
Go to http://www.tirerack.com/about/techcenter.jsp and that can answer about any question you may have!

I have searched, but wasn't able to find anything of any use. Granted my searches were short because my internet browser closes about 5 to 25 seconds after I go onto rx8xlub.com.
Appreciate the help.

Don't go 285+ n above, you don't wanna flip your car when you take a corner too fast and there's too much grip

The Stock Class RX-8 racers have run up to 295/30-18 on the 8" OE wheel width

For a daily driver you probably wouldn't want to exceed 265/35-18.

Disregard the "flip your car" r0tards ...
