Part 2: Just lowered my 8 + rims
well, it was a big decion on wich springs to use, the thing is that i really wanted a low ride, and not to many brands offer a low low ride, then i looked into sprint springs the offer a 2 inch drop, is the lowest ride i seen from any brand for the 8, the thing is that not a lot of people like them because they are not to good, but i i know few people that have them on the 8 and no complains wat so ever.
Well i bought them and had them installed, and the fact is that ride is a little harsher, barelly any bodyroll, but its not bownsy, or any mayor flaws in the sterring, im getting it alling and canber adjusted on tuesday. Im really happy with the result, i have nothing againt these brand at all. Really nice product.

I think it looks good -- black isn't usually my thing for wheels, but it fits the blue quite well.

Nick, I am just not a fan of black/very dark rims on this car. Don't get me wrong, the rims look great and the car looks great, but together its not my taste. I like rims to show contrast, chrome/aluminum maybe a little bling too. If the inside of the rime was only black, that may be better.
As you can see on this thread, many like the set-up so I am probably the minority.

I'm on the other side - I like the wheels, a quality lightweight wheel with a classic style that never gets old. The springs, on the other hand...
A 2" "drop"? What did you reset your alignment to? Oh, didn't bother? So basically, the springs are all show, no go. I can't see why anybody bothers with a 2" drop from a performance perspective - it's too low unless you increase the spring rate massively, and then they're too stiff for street performance (in other words, an appropriate spring rate will cause too much bouncing and skipping and will result in decreased adhesion). If the springs aren't stiff enough, then with the greatly reduced suspension travel you'll be hitting the bump stops regularly and creating sudden transitions which will ruin the handling. Sure, trundling around town they might seem fine, but I'd guarantee that they've reduced the performance capability of the car.
If you're into show and don't mind sacrificing go, then lowering springs like this are good. Otherwise...
Regards,
Gordon

I was just playing around, really - it's just that one-word responses just to tell someone their new modification sucks seem pretty unnecessary to me.
Here is the car in silver, for dmp:

But then ofcourse thats just me, im a nice person.
oh and about the saggin well the are lifetime warranted. so i talked to the company and they said i could exchange them if any problems were to happen
thanks
