Pics of Aftermarket Rims

I am looking at getting XXR 530's for my RX8 and was wondering what size of rim I should get, I am thinking 18x8.75 +33, also what size tire should I get to make sure it fits right? I am lowered a little bit but it was like that when I got the car so I'm not 100% sure about all that!

I mean I don't really have money for expensive rims and these look good and are relatively cheap.. If i had the money I would buy something else but I'm on a college kid budget so unless your buying em for me then XXR's it is!

PIAA Supermesh Sport: 18x8 on the front with 225/40 tires (need to make those 225/45) and 18x9.5 with 245/40 on the rear. I may go to 255/40 on the rear the next time I need tires.

Shinkastevie, If you like the XXR's, get them. I don't care about the label. Sure, I would love for some Advan's or SSR's, but I don't need to spend nearly as much money on wheels as I did on my car. I love my XXR 530's. They aren't much heavier than stock, the fitment is exactly where I want it, and they spin straight and balance great even after nearly 30,000 miles.
Here is mine with the 530's, and it looks f*cking awesome. It's all about what YOU like. I HATE RPF1's. I think they look terrible. Sure, they come in a ton of sizes and are light as a feather, but they are boring to me, but everybody else seems to like them.
Now, for the knockoff argument: I have compared them next to the BBS's that they replicate. There is a BMW in town with them as OEM wheels and I have parked next to it and compared back to back. The XXR's are DIFFERENT. They aren't exact copies. Maybe they were inspired by the BBS wheels, but aren't exact copies, and thats why I don't feel shameful about buying "knock off" wheels

As requested, pictures of the Enkei NT03+M in SBC finish. Specs are 18x9.5 +27 all around wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 Evo 255/40/18. Currently lowered on Progress Technology springs and Koni Yellow shocks.
As expected, the 255/40/18 tires are tall, so there was some initial rubbing with the rear bumper tabs even while running -3 camber as well with some slight rubbing with the corner lights on the front with -2 camber (Aiming to go as close to -3 as possible on the fronts soon). Fenders are slightly pulled on the front and rolled while the rear fenders and bumper tabs are shaved; fender liners were also trimmed all around. At the moment, there are no issues anymore with the rears after shaving the tabs down while the front side-markers still occasionally rub when driven hard.

My point is, the stock wheels are pretty nice. Plenty of cars come with nice looking stock wheels these days. It isn't the 90s when wheel design was sort of an afterthought if any thought was put into it at all. The only complaint I have against the stock wheels is they are a size to big. 17s are where it is at. Cheaper tires, easier to get a performance tire in the middle of an event if you run out of spares. The pull off place near my house always seems to stock a set of 245/45/17s I dunno if is just me (I probably buy 2 sets of that size /year for auto X)
If you are gonna put aftermarket wheels on your car (and I am) make sure they look better, or weigh less. Just because they are aftermarket, doesn't mean they are better. If you mod just to have mods what is the point really?
