So, how do you deal w/ the tire pressure sensor?
Not a perfect solution, but works for now.

Looks good! Not any concern with the 265's?
Would a 245/40 fit ok on a stock rim? Then again, the e v700 isn't avail in a 245/40/18, so that's why you went with the 265/35's right?

No rubbing yet, but I haven't autox'd yet with them on. Just playing on the streets. I got the V700 265/35/18 as an intermediate step to the Hoosier 275/35/18 because I think the Hoosier 245/35/18 is too short and would reduce the top end of 2nd gear to somethings that's too slow.
The 265/35/18 V700 is still about .5" shorter than stock.

Curious as to why you ultimately went with the 18's versus 17's for autox?
The 17" wheels are not legal on a 6sp, only an automatic since the 6sp has no 17" option. You have to be very careful and read the rules before upgrading a car for solo II. To often people go out and purchase upgrades like cold air intakes and lowering springs which place their car in a street prepared class that renders them uncompetitive vs. cars with $10k worth of mods.
Kumho and Hoosier offerings for 17" wheels have the same overall diameters as the 18". They just have larger sidewalls. So you get no gearing advantage, though it is easier to squeeze an oversize 40 series tire on a wheel than a 35 series.

Rojr that. I suspected it may have been a rules issue relative to race category. Makes complete sense.
Even though the tires are 265, you stayed with an 8" width -- looks like a very nice fit in the wheel wells. Definitely keep us posted if you encounter any clearance issues.

On every post, there seems to be an opposite opinion, so here's mine........
Hope you have the receipt for when you realize how aweful they look and you're ready to take them back.
Now on with the praises for the new rims.........
