Pics of volk rims with RB drop(huge pics)

Here's my BB Rx-8 with gunmetal Volk Gt-N's 18x8 all around (thanks again redvelocity) with a conservative 1/2 inch drop from Racing Beat...As you can see the RB drop will still give you one hell of a gap.

yup thats what it looks like with those springs...looks stock to me too, but you can feel the difference when you drive the car espically with the sways.

did you tighten the suspension bolts to spec with the car on the ground or up in the air? all of those bolts should be tightened with teh full weight of the car on the suspension. Lower shock bolt/sway bar bolts/ upper a-arm bolts especially. It looks to me like it was up in the air...i have the same springs (albeit with konis) and the difference in ride height is much bigger. With my stock shocks i remember the gap being about 1 1/2 to 2 fingers high above the tire.

yup your right, it was up in the air...I never realized that but thank you for the advice I appreciate it. So hopefully I can cut some of my gap then right if I just tighten the bolts? Also what happens if I don't, well it go down eventually? Thanks silverarrow.

First untighten them all (on the ground is fine, turning the wheels to full lock will help you get to teh bolts). then reverse the procedure, and tighten them all to spec, i would push down on all four corners (bounce it) while they are loose, this will help, and once they settle the gap will lessen even more. No prob.
