goodlord, i ******* LOVE the guy i bought the extra caliper from hahaha
i paid $40 for a " caliper " and he sent the WHOLE thing, caliper, bracket, and even the pads that were in the caliper with 50% life on them at least rofl.
I'll be soaking it in brake cleaner to clean it up tonight, and then tomorrow i'll start the work on it ^^

slight learning curve since this is my first attempt at polishing, so far so good though, I just need to go get some extra stuff so i can easier remove the bumpy oem finish. lowest grit i had was 220, which wasnt enough unless i plan on doing this allllll day lol, gonna go pick up some 100 grit, maybe even some 80, and a mouse sander.
wasted the, ENTIRE day trying to find proper sandpaper pads for the mouse sander that i have, lol, i got SOME, but very little progress in, I will hit it hardcore tomorrow, and post some pictures tomorrow night.

You're gonna have a really hard time with the porous surface on the caliper. I did a set of wheels with a similar surface and it took forever to get it o look even. Remember, as you go up in grit, remember to always ensure that all the large scratches from sanding are gone.
That's a hell of a project, good luck to you.

I know it's an old thread but here are my freshly painted calipers. Did them with powder and the front of the caliper is polished.
