Anyone know of a cheap Powder coating shop in SoCal? Im looking at buying some of those 5 spoke wheels that come on the 6spdmt 8's and gettin em powder coated. Any help is much appreciated. Ty in advance

ok so heres the deal i got quoted at 55 a wheel for stock RX8 rims but he said they had already been powder coated *edit* rims come factory powder coated so they need to be dipped in some sort of acid at a place in aneheim and thats 80 bucks so just for the rims with sandblasting and all that good stuff is 220 and for the acid crap it comes out to a total of 300 and he said if you dont have to get them dipped it takes a day or 2 but if u need them dipped it takes 3-4 days and thats for Central powder Coating in Brea CA heres there website http://centralpowdercoating.com/default.htm

Are you saying that they are going to powder coat them for $300 each? If so, you're better off with aftermarket rims.

 

lol no 300 total for all 4 rims and the acid dip so all 4 rims dipped and powder coted together =300$ final price
