powdercoat color

since im getting new tires, and time attack is officially played out, and im cheapskate that dont want to buy new wheels, and my finish is pretty f*ed, what color should i powdercoat my wheels?

im thinking either a super metalic sparkling silver, or a glossy black, im trying to stay away from crazy neon colors also unless you have a REALLY good suggestion

Oh, didn't realize you already had black! Textured anthracite is a cool finish. I don't think any 8's have a textured wheel look either, you could be the first haha.

i was thinking about mag blue but the local powdercoater will not do it. He has had issues with them coming out in different tints. some darker or lighter than others. I decided 100% aginst it with my super rossa's

Keep in mind that textured, matte, gloss, etc are all variations of the same primary finish.

Mag blue would look sweet too

so thinking about going with a glossy flat dark gray finish, in lieu of magnesium blue, which i feel is still a little too flashy for my tastes,
the wheels on the evo were mag blue but i just did a simple desaturation to it

You could go with the Mettalic Gray from the Mazdaspeed kit. Also known as Mitsubishi Graphite Gray.

I did my 5 spoke wheels in gunmetal which is a similar color as anthracite. They came out great

FWIW I like the idea of Mag Blue on WWP. If you are concerned with it it being too flashy then have them darken the color a bit.
