Problem with stock Bridgestone tires

So here it is. I've got about 3,000 miles on the RX-8 and was going to rotate the tires last night. I checked them at 1,500 when I did the first OLF and they seemed to be fine.

Well, now they are all getting really choppy on the outside edge tread. I checked the alignment and every thing is in speck except the dirver side caster was out a little. Without getting into a full-blown alignment discussion I know that caster will not cause tire wear, however toe and camber will. Toe causing choppy wear and caster causing smooth inside or outside wear.

What I don't understand is all 4 tires are getting choppy, the toe checked fine camber checked fine. Tires are not out of balance since I have never had any vibrations in the steering wheel.

Well, anyway I called Bridgestone customer support to talk to someone, took all my info etc, they called the manager of a store that is close to me. He said that he wanted to have the tires in stock when I came in to get the tires checked. I'm assuming they will replace the tires since they are going to the trouble to have them on hand when i will be there

Has anyone had any problems like this with the stock Bridgestones? Or do I need to start looking into other possibilities?
