I originally planned on 255, but tire choices are limited, plus the rim is 8.5" wide, which is 216 mm, so 245 mm tire is already wider.

That's exactly what I thought, but I shifted the rims around and eventually found the sweet spot where it clicked in.

yeah, I was really bummed at the prospect of returning the rims,, but they have a nice tight fit. once you realize it, then it's easy to flip them on. But it's not like stock where you can just push it somewhere in the area and it kinda slops on. You need to lift it up and press it in the right spot.

hmmmm, 3 of them fit with no problem at all though....... it was just that last one that gave some trouble. It started raining so ill have to wait for it to die down before i can give installing it another shot. If anything ill try to find a local shop that would bore it out. Gruppe-S already told me they would reimburse me the fee to have it done. A+ company if you ask me!!

I'm wondering if you could get a cheapo cylinder honing tool (available at most autoparts store) and remove enough material to get it to fit. These were made for the Nissan bore (66.1 mm if I recall) and we need 67.1mm.

I missed out on this deal but someone local is selling a set for $1500 with brand new 245/40 tires so it works out to a really good deal. I'd just have to get the bores opened up to fit.

Tried that already. Also tried installing that rim on another corner of the car where another rim already fit. Nothing worked.

So you spent $100 on lug nuts not knowing if they'd fit your car? That's not to smart, good thing you're lucky 'cause 12 x 1.5 will fit

Well, I did look into the lug nuts and that's why I bought that size, smart guy. I was just wanted to be sure after reading c0ldf1ame's post. I also went by mysql101's post that the rims were coming with rays lugs, but unfortunately, that didn't turn out to be true either.

my rims did come with lug nuts, but they do not fit our car. They only turn about 180 degrees before it stops threading.

i need to find out the size, so I can sell them off on ebay - cause they're useless for us.

Since they came w/ wheels made for Nismo I'd guess that they're 12 x 1.25 which would fit Nissans and Subys. Of the top of my head I don't know what other makes use the 12 x 1.25.
