Recommended brakes/rotors

Anyone have any recommendations on rear brakes and rotors for my 05 RX-8 that aren't too costly?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

OEM - Factory rotors with Axis Ulltimate pads...if you don't mind cleaning break dust - they are hands down the best (in terms of stopping power) pads I've ever used.

For you Racing Brake fans, they just started advertising in SportsCar magazine (SCCA members get it)..... In the June 09' issue (pg 43) there is a discount code for 10% off Racing Brake products. SC0609, good until 7-31-09.

Talk to Brice at Fluid - he hooked me up with a dealio on some RacingBrake slotted fronts and Hawk Performance Ceramic pads.

Another option is Centric rotors from the parent company of StopTech:
http://zeckhausen.com/Mazda/RX-8.htm

The Centric rotors are great. They have an electo-super-duper coating on the centers so they don't rust and the overall quality and cut pattern is of higher quality than almost anything I have ever seen for $65 each rotor. Pair the with some Axxis Ultimates and some good brake fluid and you're good to go.

The Racing Brake kit and products are also awesome but I think they are a bit more expensive. Rishie is the man for those.

I like the ones AMG RX7 pointed out. They seem to be very good for not a lotta cash. I personally would save my pennies for a set of 2 piece RB w/ the vented slot option.
