Hey guys I'm starting to consider rims for my black rx-8 and need some opinions on what you think would be best (pics are always a plus)

So far I have found these Foose Df-5 (probably 19 or 20)


And Konig Unknown (probably 18, 19 or 20)


Heres a pic I found on cardomain of a black rx-8 with the 18" unknowns...


I haven't narrowed it down to these these are just 2 I found that I like still open to anything. Let me know and thanks for the help

 

unknown's are so ugly imo, if anything go with the foose wheels

 

Honestly, I'd have to say none. Wheels really depend on your budget though. Check and search threads about rims.

 

I have a BB rx8 as well, and just purchased some black rims last week. i'll post pictures as soon as their on my car, but here's the wheel itself.

 

Notice that I said it doesn't have to be either of the rims listed. I am open to suggestions. Topgear8 post some pics when you get those on there

 

you got rims off a benz?

 

Also I don't want to spend more then $1000 on just the rims thats for sure! And those rims look like a benz to me too we will have to see how they turn out looking.

I would say go with neither. I bet they both weigh like 25-30 pounds each, and they really don't look that good IMO.

 

If anyone has other options of rims they think would look good I am open to suggestions...

 

lol no, the centercaps dont come with the wheel, i'm not sure why he posted it with the benz's centercaps on their in the first place tho...their Effects wheels, so the center cap is just like the benz, except with an E. i'll show you the pics hopefully wednesday.

 

Weight is an issue when it comes to performance cars, especially ones that only have 170 whp.

Look for something that is as light or lighter then stock.

n rider89 has a sick set of axis hiros that may interest you...

its a good looking wheel that isn't too expensive ~$1200 for the set in 19

 

Yah I freaking love those axis hiros! They don't come in black though as far as I know he got those custom powder coated and I have no idea how much more that would cost and where I could even go about having it done at...

 

aftermarket pc isnt really that expensive, i would maybe pm him and get some numbers

If you don't want to spend loads of money and like the looks of the Hiros, check out the Axis Reverbs. I saw them on a Black 8 at the dealership and they lookd pretty decent.

 

Get the black HP lightning evos... those would look aite on the black
