I really liked the Racing Hart C4 but I couldn't justify spending $1,000 per rim. So after a lot of hunting I found the RS Limited Limix which was a fraction of the cost but still had a similar look. They fit fine and weigh about 18 lbs. In the end I spent about $1300 on the rims, Kumho Ecsta MX tires, M&B, and shipping.
Would I have preferred the Racing Harts? Sure, as long as someone else was footing the bill but this way I was able to afford a set of JIC coil-overs too! :D

Wheels, as everything else is subjective.
My opinion means nothing.....but I like the stock wheels, and the only ones I would replace them with cost too much money...so I'll be rocking the stock 18's for a looong time.

Precious,
I like the pattern as it is close to stock. However I wonder if the crisp lines on this wheel would contrast in a bad manner with the lines of the RX-8? It could look good but I'd have to see it on the car first.

This is a great thread. I to am looking for some wheels that will set my car off, but price is important. Maybe one day I won't have to decide based on price but now I do. I am now looking at these; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7941639823.
This was just a picture, I would get them in 18s though.

in my case, it worked out cheaper for me to trade the old ones in for a new one with brand spanking wheels. ah.... its great to have connections :D

Photochop
Fellow Black 8,
I saw you did a nice photochop with your 8. Would you possibly be able to do a couple for me? The wife just gave me the go ahead on some rims but I can't decide between the TSW Montage or the TSW Mondello.

Which rims did you end up going with?
Thank you
