roll center adjust kit

I've seen this asked before. I dont know jack about suspension, but all the guru's here had the same thing to say. That, with this car, you'd have to be dragging the ground(literally) before your drop had any serious effects on the geometry. Basically unless you have one of those show queens on bags that sits the skirts on the ground, you cant get low enough to affect the geometry in a subsantial way.
Again, i DONT KNOW suspension, just regurgitating what i've seen before when this was asked.

i'm not too quite clear if it was the a-arm confirgurations that affects the roll centers... so don't quote me on this.
but i know the basic lay-out such as equal length top/lower arms, longer top arm than bottom arm, and vice-versa.
how does it work???
well... if you didn't do ur homework and know what to get, then its probably better off left alone imo.

Roll center is primarily affected by the angles of the arms and their distance apart. It's pretty easy to look up a graphical method of finding it. In general, as you lower your car, roll center will go down (away from the center of mass). This effectively gives the center of mass a larger lever to push on and requires more roll stiffness to control.
Most roll center adjustment kits that I've seen are just spacers that space the lower ball joint upwards. However, I've only seen them made for McPherson strut cars as I think they are more negatively affected by lowering than A-arm cars like the RX-8.

^^thanks kenneth,
i didn't need the explanation however. i'd assume they were interested in this item so i went in this direction. but no mentions of drifting or otherwise were in the topic... so it was pointless to alter in my opinion.
or maybe, just maybe they were getting this to prep the car for drifting in the future. i'm just not sure because no-body seems to come up here asking for advice and stating where they are headed with their cars anymore...
have u ever had someone who has a car set up for drift and ask for your advice on whats the stickiest tire?

bump for an old thread of mine. still searching for answers.
i found this for the front. if you go to the site you will see what the part is suppose to fix in one of the pictures. now looking for what to use in the rear.

What are you trying to accomplish with your car?
A better handling car? The tried and true method of good struts, increased spring rates, minor drop .5-.75",bigger sway bar, corner balanced and a proper alignment should do the trick.
If you to lower the car without changing the suspension geometry, you would need some sort of drop spindles or relocate the control arm mounting points.
