Rotors and brake problems

Yes lots of people have had warped rotors.
TSB means Technical Service Bulletin, which means a known quality issue that Mazda will fix for you, not the same as a recall which is usually a safety issue.

Brake Rotors Warping

Turns out that the rotors are not warping as I was originally informed but that brake pad material had build up on the rotors after hard braking on the track. They had some very useful recommendations to minimize pad residue build up on the rotors.
They did say that if the build up gets hard, the only real way to get it off is to have the rotors turned. While not overly expensive a bit time consuming.
That information saved me thousands, because I was getting ready to get special performance rotors that claimed to resist warping only to find out that the term was misapplied to the challenge that was really caused from bad material build up on the rotors.
I will try to find the tread where I got the info and post in later.
