RX-8 Brakes?
#26
Just an aside question.
From peoples experience what is a good pad to replace the oem ones with? My main requirements would be less dust! with the same as stock braking ability and as least wear as possible on the rotors. I am happy with the current brakes they are some of the best i've experienced and as i am not tracking my car i don't think i need bigger brakes, just can't stand the dust.
thanks

If you're not tracking it, no reason to spend $200-$500 on pads. With the size of the brakes on the 8, you could stuff a paper towel in there as your brake pads and still out-brake every SUV on the road.
Something like the Axxis Deluxe or Axxis Metal Masters are pretty good on dust, but I bet you can find an even better pad than that if stock stopping and low dust is all you care about.

Also I have Hawk HPS pads and they seem to create significantly less dust than the OEM's.
