RX Newbie tire and brake question

Excited to own a new RX8. Just picked it up a few days ago. ti gray with Chapparal leather.

I have a long history of driving and will be using the RX for track days and Autox with the local Porsche club.

I have searched on the forum here, but just wanted to ask for any final opinions / new info.

I would like to run a 18" wheel with 255/40R18s. I Understand this will need to be a 9" wide wheel.

What is the proper offset?? is it 50??
I am thinking about the Azenis 615s in a 255. Any thoughts relative to track use?

For brakes: Will the stock rotors hold up for a few track days with a porterfield or Carbotech pad. Who is running what pads for track use.?

Thank you. Mark in Phx.

Your stock OEM brakes should work find on Autox with 15 minutes between runs.
OEM brakes on track days in the Phoenix summer heat will fade and fast. But then its a driver issue and after all, it's about the driver, not the car.

Big Brake review thread.
