Rx8store Cross-drilled rotors

I just wanted to say a few things about the cross drilled rotors on rx8store.com. Customer service was great and all of my questions were answered. The product is top notch and for $350 plus $30 shipping I feel that they are an excellent deal. Rx8store claims that they are the same qaulity as the rotoras but at almost half the price. The downside, (i wish i had pics) the rear rotors do not have the black coating far enough out from the center of the rotor. The contact patch that the brake pads hit on the rotor is not as wide as the space that has been left on the rotor. After less than one week I had a rust ring around the rotor extending about 1/4" out from the black painted area. This looked extremely ugly, which really ruined the look on the rear. If you buy the rx8store rotors, you will need to paint 1/4" out from the outside point of the painted part of rotors or they will rust. Use your stock rotors as a reference, they are painted farther out from the center than the rx8store rotors. I took them off today and painted them with VHT gloss black($7.99 Autozone) If you need some pics to further illustrate this then feel free to get back with me. I just wanted you guys to know this before you put them on your car and not have to remove them a week later like I did.

man you are gonna kill me, i had the rotors off the car twice and could have weighed them and i was just so excited to get them on there that i didnt. By comparison with just holding them in my hands there is not a significant differences between the two. They are a very nice looking product and perform well, just paint them before you put them on,
