S2000 rims fit?
My buddy is getting rid of his S2000 and will sell me his rims and tires for dirt cheap. They are only three months old and in mint condition. They are Enkei PKR's 18x8.5 rear with Hankook Ventus 245/35-18's and the fronts are 18x7.5 with 215/40-18's. Will the rims fit? If they do can I mount 245/40-18's on all fours even though they are staggered? If the rims fit I think the 215's up front may be too thin. Hell, I don't even know if they fit. The bolt pattern is okay but how do I find the offset of these wheels?

I think the rears only have 24mm of offset. I am still trying to verify. I think the fronts may be 38mm offset and the bolt pattern for the fronts at Enkei's site lists as 5-115. Could the front bolt pattern and the rear be different?

If he is your friend then why don't you just try them out to see if the fit?????
I don't want to seem like a dick or anything, but why even post this? It takes all of ten minutes to jack up the car and switch out the front and rear on one side of your car. Then at least you will know for sure, and you can get an idea of how they look on your car too. If he is your friend then you obvioulsy know him and it would only make sense to let you try them on to see if they fit before you buy them.

Maybe because it's easier to ask here then it is to try and fit my jack in the trunk and drive way the **** over to his house and jack up my car in 90+ degree weather and then find they don't fit right or that they could seriously affect the daily drivability. Ten minutes to jack up and swap two tires out with a scissor jack? Are you on a Nascar pit crew or something?

For pre-2005 the OE front is 16 x 6.5 @ 55mm 5x114.3 PCD and the OE rear is 16 x 7.5 @ 65mm 5x114.3 PCD
2005 they went up to 17 x 7.0 front and 17 x 8.5 rear
The S2000 has smaller brake diameters that the RX-8 ... if the offsets are that extreme on the Enkeis they likely won't clear

Team beat me to it, but just a small correction, but I think they run 63 in the rear; not that 2 mm will really matter. Still, that's a really extreme stock offset and if the offsets you list for the Enkei are true, your friend must've rolled his fender or is getting rubbing since that's more than a inch difference from stock! If you really want this combination (and I wouldn't) I'd put 225/45s in the front and 245/40s in the rear.

His S2000 is an 05' that came with the stock 17" and he is dropped on Teins and it does not rub with the Enkei's. If they fit, I am more worried it will totally screw up the balance of the car and make it unsafe for daily driving. I will use the stockers and the 245's for autox. Maybe I will get them and be able to work out some type of trade or something. I will try them on on Sunday so we will see.
