They differentiate their winter tire tests by tire sizes and also test in snow. TireRack tests are very narrow, just on an ice rink, in an RWD BMW, no snow or slush tests, and I assume the ice rink temperature is warmer than the typical winter temperature. So these ADAC tests are more useful in making purchasing decisions.
