Snow Tire Size Question

I ran Blizzak LM22's last year size 225/45/18 on stock wheels and they worked great until the end of the winter season when the inner wall of one bubbled and caused the car to shake badly. Ended up having to scrap that tire, so now I only have 3 LM22's. I don't believe they make this tire anymore, so it would probably be hard to find just one.

I found some used 245/45/18 Blizzak LM22's that someone is selling for a couple hundred for the set which isn't a bad price in my mind. I didn't know if this was acceptable for a snow tire on our stock wheel? I know its usually better to have a thinner tire in the snow, but where I found a good deal on these, would they suffice?

Thanks.

Just a FYI... I needed to replace a LM22 recently. The other three still had substantial tread left. I called the local Firestone dealer and had him do a search. Turns out another dealer less than an hour from my house still had a couple left in my size. It's worth a phone call...

Thanks for the heads up. I'll try and make a few calls today.
