So where can we purchase new tire pressure monitors?

Question So where can we purchase new tire pressure monitors?

I’ve decided if I’m getting winter tires and wheels, I would like to include the monitors as well. Unfortunately, when I called the dealer, they gave me a price of $104 per sensor. Anybody know of a cheaper supplier?

I have an extra set. PM me with an offer - I'm very reasonable.

I bought a "take-off" set from a gentleman that included his original tires and tire pressure sensors. I have removed them and mounted the new set of Hoosiers on the rims for autocross, so there is no need for the sensors.

They are sitting on a shelf in my garage.

Thanks for the offer. I found them a little lower at http://www.finishlineperformance.com for $75/sensor. My info was that there are no third party distributers ... yet. So I went on ahead and ordered them. Maybe someone else will be looking as well.

Please be aware that the "wheel sensor nuts" that hold the sensors on the wheels do not come with either the stock wheels or the sensors - you must purchase them seperately.

No I did not realize that. I placed a couple calls to the vendor before the agreeded with you. The good new is that my monitors arrived today and are on their way to my house. The bad news is that these bolts are on ... backorder Oh well. I guess I'll just see how long it takes. I've got my options covered, just wanted to get the winter setup done.
