Talking Some new goodies - poly bushings and stopping pieces

Just a few pics of some new goodies I picked up

below - ooooh, nice new bushings everywhere

Below again - some new brake parts. Note: still using and PLAN on using more Axxis Ult pads, I love them. But, stoptech includes these in the package so, I'll try them, a lot of M3 guys say they're pretty damn good pads. Also, for those of you who don't know, "StopTech" is owned AND made by Centric. thus the name on the rotor boxes. This is what you get when you order the performance brake upgrade kit from stoptech (-) the fluid (i had slotted/drilled rotors on the car.... POS!)

the bushings are from energy suspension. the kit they list is kinda wrong, but they're in the process of correcting that, I was the test rabbit for proper fitment. If you're in so cal i can hook you up with the guys info from ES.

Ooooh, ES is coming out with a kit? Did you have the kit installed at a shop or did you do it yourself? It's a bitch to do.

I run a shop, doing it myself would not have been an issue, but no, Energy suspension did it for me, for purposes of test fitting and correcting past problems they had with the kit they had listed. (gotta love free parts) As for the ride, well, already being 13.5" center to fender on bilstien PSS9's set on firm doesnt exactly provide a great ride, BUT, it did get noticeably more firm. Nothing i can't deal with, but, im the type that would sacrifice all comfort for just a little more performance. The only thing I dislike about them is the same thing and issue i had with my old Z31, and my buddy's fiero with poly bushings. High speed driving and cornering is bitchin, its a great improvement on "driver-car" feedback, but, for normal driving, the input from the road to the wheel is frustrating, being that all 3 cars i've done this with have preload type front upper control arm bushings, and poly bushings are free-rotating, it makes it feel a little uneasy on the freeway when hitting small imperfections in the road, and feels more unstable. But again, to me its well worth the upgraded feeling and response when driving aggressively or on the track.

PM me if your really interested in these bushing sets, I'll let you know how to get a hold of these
