speedo recalibration - possible? easy?

Does anyone know if the computer can be reconfigured
to give accurate speedo readings after shorter tires
have been installed?
If so, how?

I just put on 225/47/17's and I don't care a huge
great deal about the inaccuracy but I figured, since
it's all electronic then maybe there's an easy recalibration.
Though my dealer didn't know the answer (at least, they
said they'd have to look into it and didn't sound optimistic)
