Speey Dynamic Drilled/Slotted Rotors
Greetings Guys/Gals,
Was browsing around on ebay and found these drilled/slotted rotors.

I already have Rotora drilled/slotted rotors, but figured I would post this link here in case you have heard of this company or were looking for something a bit cheaper than rotora. Never heard of this company before, so I leave the rest to you.

be aware of cheap drilled/slotted rotors. even if they have a brand name on them.
often what these people do is purchase pepboys blank rotors (or sometimes a decent blank, like a brembo) and drill the holes/slots on a lathe themselves. this makes is VERY prone to warping and failure.

Not only a chance of cracking (chamfered holes are a very important part of the process), but the pattern of those holes is very important too. They have to be offset around the rotor so that every part of the brake pad will be swept by the same number of holes in one revolution. I've seen rotors where the holes weren't spread out evenly like that, and both the pads and rotors were ruined in a matter of a couple of thousand miles, because of the very uneven wear. The owner complained that the pads ruined his very expensive rotors, claiming that the pad manufacturers were crap, but once he posted a picture of his worn rotors, it was clear that it was uneven wear due to the hole pattern, and after this was pointed out to him, we didn't hear from him for awhile...
