Those are very nice and glittering black is great - but I'm just not paying more then $200 per rim - I work too hard for my money to blow it on rims.

Actually I'd rather keep the 8" rim because I already have two sets of 225 tires ( stock summer tires and my all-seasons), plus 225 get better mpg ad I don't really race the car to be pursuing more max grip...
But I am going for 8.5" rim with 235 -I want that concave spoke look and more flush fit with the fenders. At the same time I don't want to mess with stock suspension geometry - the wider rim will distribute the tire closer to where it sits at 50mm stock offset.
(8.5-8") = 0.5" = 12.7mm, (12.7/2) = 6.35mm, so keeping same 225 tires, the position of the contact patch will be shifted out by (50-35-6.35) = 8.65mm, which is not perfect but not bad. And once I'll will switch to 235s down the line the difference will only be 3.65mm which is negligible all togather.

Just hit a pothole on a major NYC highway, fn hate the roads here - just got a used set to replace bent ones...I'll try to straighten them out.
