Right but that 1 degree adjustment can be made with the OE adjustment cam bolt with no camber kit needed.

I don't think a camber kit is necessary for the Rx8 stock you can get up to 2.0 degrees in the front and rear over 2.5 at stock ride height. If you need more then that you are probably going to lower the car. I can get over 4 degrees on mine.

Once you cord the tires the spot will grow quickly. I think you just ran them too long corded them and maybe locked the brakes causing the flat spot. It is very common at the track with race tires. I wouldn't worry about it.

I can only get 1.3 in the front and only 1.8 in the rear stock.

Mine got front -1.5 camber, 6.5 caster, 0 toe, Rear -1.9 camber, 0 toe on RB springs
It required replacement of all the cams and bushings due to corrosion
Tire wear is typical.
