SSR Professor SP1 authenticity check
Hi all, I just purchased an '04 RX8, and it came with some 19" wheels that say "professor SP1" on the center caps.
They look great, but I have no use for them, as they are not legal for stock class autocrossing, so I would like to sell them.
Problem is, I want to sell them for the proper price. Is there a quick and easy way to tell if they are actual SSRs or a knockoff? Also, is there a way to tell what brand they are, either by a stamping or sticker or something? I don't want to misrepresent them in a for sale ad.
Thanks all in advance.

If it says PROFESSOR SP1 then it's going to be a Tire Rack version SP1, not a Tanabe/SSR version. The post Tanabe SSR's are going to have machined/Carbon Fiber inserted caps that say SSR or solid aluminum caps (since discontinued), that say SSR on it.
Tire rack models had a sticker on the inner barrel that says EXPORT MODEL, Model Name, Offset, Wheel Serial number, and SPEED STAR LTD. CO
And on the barrel itself on the outside (tire will cover this), there might be a Patent sticker still left on there.

To resurrect from the dead, I finally got around to putting these up for sale. Am I in the ballpark on asking price?
Thanks again for helping me identify these, guys.
