Angry Steering

Has any one else experienced steering problems with the 8 as in temporary loss of steering or violent vibrations when turning in cold conditions

How fast were you going? How's the road condition? Where there any ice on the road? Sounds like either your car slid on a tiny patch of ice (if that's the case) and it might of felt like you lost control of steering, or you might of lost control on some gravel. Do what Romulus suggested and take it in for a diagnostic.

eh..There is no power steering belt in the RX8. Its all electric! It looks like its a intermediate electrical loose connection. Did you have your PS light on?. Have the dealer check with the diagnostic tool.
