stock suspension, lowered springs, wider wheels?
is this bad news waiting to happen?
i need to know if i can run my wider wheels (9.5 +15, 10.5 +15) on my stock shocks with lowering springs for a while till i get my hands on some aftermarket shocks... (stupid backorders)
or should i just avoid this completely?
thanks

ive seen some people running that on aggressive wheels...
of course i know fender work will have to be done either way but i was more focusing on if the suspension would be ok, or if id damage the car?

do you have any experience with this on other cars in the past? you're going pretty wide...did you get a crazy good deal on these wheels or something?? just not sure it's really worth all the hassle you'll encounter.
fwiw, i'm on konis and tein s, with 9.5 +30 and 275 tires, and i rub in the back even AFTER a partial fender roll.

1. I know I will have to roll my fenders.
2. I know I will have to shave some of my lining.
3. I may/most likely need a pull.
So from the 15,900 posts of experience, I have learnt that I should wait for my new shocks or if I can find coilovers in my budget.
That more or less sum it up?
Thanks again for the help.

Now that the Koni's are on backorder, I really need to get my car out so I wanted to see if temporarily I could run the wheels on the stock shocks until I get the new shocks in.
My only other choice is get some shitty used tires for the stock wheels until I'm set for the new wheels.
What would you do in this situation?

but i guess your main advice is buy coilovers and work on the fenders and everything should work out?
