The stock brakes are as big as they can get. I would've just upgraded the pads, but I guess people can't see those . Was there any significant difference in brake bias? I would suppose that it would give the front more; I'll have to get my nerd on, but not now, I'm tired :o . Keep us posted .

Yeah, I guess I forgot about this thread. We did do some stopping distance tests with the AutoEnginuity scan tool. It has a provision to figure braking distance like what they do in Road & Track when they test a car. In stock form the car goes 60 to 0 stopping in something like 115-117ft. After the brake kit was installed and broken in we reinacted the test. Our 60 to 0 distance was reduced to an average of 101ft over three runs. By now the pads were nice an hot and getting really grabby so we decided to do a 70 to 0 run just for giggles. The result was 111ft on average of two runs, (would have done 3 runs but I think someone let the cops in on our little party and we had to tuck tail and run). The decreased stopping distance was a great benefit though also as stated; for better heat dispursion and greater brake modulation with hardly no fade. They seem to work well on and off the track though they work almost too well for street driving. I had to stop super quick a couple weeks back because a car got side swiped right infont of me and I was able to keep clear even though I was following too closely and by all rights probably would have been a casualty as well had I not been able to stop just that much quicker with greater control. The only down side is that because the brake work so well, the truck behind me almost creamed me because I stoped so fast. I was fine though shaken up a bit. I remember hearing the screaching of the truck brakes behind me and just waiting for the impact. He luckely was able to pull off to the side of me to avoild hitting my rear. His brakes smelled like they were on fire. So as far as I'm concerned they paid for them selves just in saving me from the accident.

Thanks Vivid for the update . Is the kit good for the long run? I'm still pretty skeptical about burning thousands of dollars for a brake kit that I might not enjoy. How's the pedal feel? Is it about the same as stock? I'm not really that strong; I don't want to have to use my entire weight just to go from 30-0 (exaggerating).

The long run so far has been exceptional. I would recomend these to anyone who needs a little bit more for the track. The pedal feel is more firm though it doesn't require tons of force for he brakes to stop. Just the opposite. The idea here being that larger brakes will stop shorter with less effort. Greater modulation of the pedal is also a benefit. I don't think you'll have any problems getting them to stop for you no matter how much you wiegh.
