Sway bars - Mazdaspeed now or something else later?
I was going to wait until my warranty expired before upgrading, but my 2006 Shinka is now being repaired after a collision.
Details here (https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-aftermarket-performance-modifications-23/shinka-upgrades-121325/) sorry for the cross post.
Basically, if I upgrade now, I can use the replacement cost of the stock sway bar and put it toward a Mazdaspeed sway bar (repair shop is Mazda dealer owned). I'd get the Mazdaspeed for around $100 after replacement cost of stock front bar is applied plus free install labor on the front bar. I'd have to pay for the rear bar using dealer labor rate.
So what are your opinions? I will keep the stock shocks etc (it's a 2006 Shinka) at least until the waranty expires. This is my daily driver. So is the Mazdaspeed (front and rear) sway bars a good upgrade now or should I wait and do something else later?

depends on your future plans for other suspension mods.
if you're going to do just sways, i'd recommend racing beat's instead. the MS sways alone aren't going to be strong enough by themselves to do a good job.

Thanks for the advise. After much reading on this forum, I think I will upgrade sways at the same time as shocks. So despite the set off from the insurance pay out, I will wait.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
