tein basics coilovers any thoughts?

What are you going to use them for? Street? Road course? Autox? I've done them all and they're pretty capable in each. I've paired them with the Progress sway bars and Evo-R endlinks on a set of 255 Bridgestone's and its a pretty solid set up. Very responsive, very balanced, very predictable. Maybe a little harsh on rough roads but i've been very pleased.

IMO they're better at autox than they are at road racing.
I wish i could tell you that i'd sell you mine but i can't at the moment. I want to upgrade to KW Variant III's since i'm hoping to do a lot more road racing than autocrossing but i can't drop 2k on coilovers right now
Like i said, for an entry level coilover i think they perform pretty darn well and if you're looking to autocross more than road racing and drive on the street they sound like a pretty good fit for you.
Also, i've had zero issues with mine. I have almost 40k miles on mine and they drive like new.

thanks, thats what im looking for just an entry level coil over i also dont have unlimited funds to buy top of the line coil overs. Just wanted to get an opinion from an rx8 driver because a friend said that the basics were no good and would only make my cars handling worse but he drives a 240sx....and idk if he had any facts or just his opinion
