Tein CS Coilovers

Man... there's too much white in that pic....
I love the stance of your car - NICE... that's what I'm looking for too, as mine's also a daily driver... albeit an aggressively-driven one here in the So. Cal. canyon commutes... .... so I'd like the comfort level you mentioned above as well as the handling....
So there's no issue with front tire rub or anything with your drop? And, when you say you set height at 26 inches all around... what's your reference point for measurement? Thanks for any input....

Yeah, my neighbors house is white, it snowed a couple of days ago, the fence is white, and my car is too! Its in stealth mode for the winter months. It was overcast too, so there wasn't much light to give contrast and shadow. As far as tires rubbing, no problems at all with the stock wheels (wearing 245/40/18 Toyo T1Rs).
I measure basically from the ground to the highest point in the wheel arch. Just make sure your on flat ground, and that you measure it at a 90 deg angle. Its not super exact, but it works to get it nice and even all around. The car is actually a little higher in the back than the front. I think it gives it a great look.
I think it will be kind of hard to find these now, Tein took them off the site (probably sold out). You might be able to find a vendor that has some leftover, or possibly buy them used from someone on here. If you have the money, they are coming out with the CST which will be similar(might be out already), but since its new won't be at that super discout they had.

No, this is with the Tein CS. When I had the Megans it was even lower. These were set from the factory as something like 1 inch front .3 rear for a drop, which is just too little for me.
The Tein flex is set from the factory as the same drop as the S-Techs so if you don't feel like adjusting them they will look like that. But the flex will go much lower than that if you wanted it to.

I'm gonna call a local distributor here in San Diego tomorrow and see if they're still available.
Think I have to have a set....

Naw... they didn't take them off the site just yet - just buried them... here's a link to the "clearance" page... http://www.tein.com/clearance/suspension.html

I just got off the phone with a local distributor in San Diego who called Tein USA about this, and turns out all the CS coilovers are now sold out....
Oh well, it was worth a try.
The guy told me the replacement model is now called the "Comfort Sport" and it retails for ~$1500. Here's a link to it on Tein's site: http://www.tein.com/products/comfort_sport.html
