Thoughts on godspeed monomax coilover?

Does anyone here have them? Or any experience with them in the past?

I do canyon runs and track days. I met a guy whose sponsored by godspeed so he gets dirt cheap prices on parts from them. He hhas a 05' 350Z with bolt on mods, and full godspeed suspension and is easily able to do a 1:25 lap time at Streets of willow.

So being thats the case, if he can get me cheap prices on the godspeed mono max ill jump on it. But i just recently installed tanabe gf210 springs and in the summer plan on doing koni yellow.

They are not going to be exceptionally good track coils, and probably wont hold up well to the abuse, but for a grocery getter suspension they should be on par with megan, ksport, etc. If you get them, do post your experience and feedback as well as pictures

Did anyone find out if godspeed coilover are good or not? Im looking to replace the suspension on my rx8, nothing fancy not trying to race it or anything. Just looking for a good reliable brand for the daily drive.

I wouldn't get [cheap] coilovers for daily driving, just replace the stock suspension. If you're not racing, there is no benefit to offset the ride harshness. If you want comfort AND performance out of coilovers with high spring rates, you'll need to spend a lot more than Godspeed. You get what you pay for.

^^ That article doesn't sound like any actual testing took place, it's a popularity contest.

If you want to see a review of godspeed coilovers go to a Honda forum. A lot of guys run them and from what I have heard they think their great because they are cheap but from what I have also heard of them not lasting at all. So for a daily I wouldn't get them for the shear fact that they will blow out quickly. Tein street basis are cheap and at least have a brand name behind them.

More interesting than what coilovers are included in that "round-up" is what coilovers are NOT included:

1. Ohlins
2. Feal
3. Bilstein
4. MCS
5. Penske
6. Koni
